Did Your Georgia Access Premium Go Up? Share Your Story Before April 2.

Share Your Story Before April 2.

Georgians for a Healthy Future is collecting stories from Georgians whose health coverage has been affected by rising Georgia Access Marketplace premiums. If your costs have gone up this year and it changed what coverage you can afford or how you use your health care, we want to hear from you.

Why Your Story Matters

Right now, Georgia lawmakers are making decisions that will shape what health coverage costs and who can access it for years to come. Before the legislative session ends, it is more important than ever for Georgians to speak up and make their voices heard. Your story can help policymakers understand how rising premiums affect real families and why stronger protections are needed.

Who Should Participate?

We are looking for Georgians who fit any of these categories:

  • Saw their Georgia Access Marketplace premium increase this year
  • Renewed their coverage even though it stretched their household budget
  • Switched to a plan with higher out-of-pocket costs or fewer benefits because their previous plan became too expensive
  • Dropped their Georgia Access coverage because they could not keep up with the cost
  • Are currently uninsured after deciding not to renew this year
  • Are struggling to keep up with premiums, deductibles, or copays

Your personal experience could help protect coverage for thousands of Georgia families.

What to Expect

  1. Complete a short interest form by April 2 (about 5 minutes)
  2. If selected, take part in a 30-minute virtual interview or complete a guided self-interview on your own schedule
  3. Provide a photo and consent for your story to be shared
  4. Review your story before it is finalized and shared
Stories may be shared publicly, including with policymakers, the press, and on social media, to help advocate for stronger health care policies in Georgia.
Because we value your time, participants who complete all steps will receive a thank-you gift.
