To authorize and regulate teledentistry in Georgia by licensed dentists pursuant to permits issued by the Georgia Board of Dentistry


Children and Youth Services; respite care for foster parents

To authorize longer periods of respite care for foster parents


Social Security Coverage for Employees of the State

To provide social security coverage for employees of the state and its political subdivision who are members of the Public School Employees Retirement System


Safe at Home Act

The following protections will be provided to Georgia renters:

  • Residential rental properties are fit for human habitation;
  • Cooling as a utility cannot be shut off after an order for eviction has been issued by the court;
  • Allows a tenant three (3) business days following a written eviction notice to pay money that is due prior to a lawsuit seeking to evict them may be filed with the court; and
  • Limiting landlords from requiring a security deposit that exceeds two months’ rent.
