GHF recently welcomed Daniel Nguyen as our new Administrative Assistant, and Deanna Williams and Treylin Cooley as our new Health Insurance Navigators. We are so pleased that Daniel, Deanna and Treylin have joined our team! Please get to know each of them through their brief biographies below and connect with them when you have the opportunity.
Daniel Nguyen, Administrative Assistant
Daniel Nguyen is the Administrative Assistant for Georgians for a Healthy Future. In this role, he will support GHF’s growing team with day-to-day operations, office management, and other administrative functions.
Daniel earned his B.Sc. in Business Administration at the University of Alabama, with a focus in Finance. Prior to making the switch to the nonprofit sector, Daniel worked in finance in Washington, D.C. His lifelong passion and commitments are towards improving racial equity, and social and economic justice.

Deanna Williams, Health Insurance Navigator
Deanna Williams is a Health Insurance Navigator for Georgians for a Healthy Future. In this role, Deanna will provide health insurance outreach, enrollment assistance, and other consumer support in 10 central Georgia counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Putnam, Twiggs, and Wilkinson counties.
Deanna earned her B.S. in Psychology and minor in Sociology at Georgia Southern University. Because of her passion to help others, she began her career at the Georgia Department of Family of Children Services in Bibb county. She later transitioned to become a certified Medicare counselor, helping seniors get enrolled in health coverage. She will apply these skills to her new responsibilities helping Georgians navigate the Affordable Care Act and their health insurance coverage.

Treylin Cooley, Health Insurance Navigator
Treylin Cooley is a health insurance navigator focusing on Georgia’s LGBTQ+ community for Georgians for a Healthy Future. In this role, Treylin will provide health insurance outreach, enrollment assistance, and other consumer support to Georgia’s LGBTQ+ communities.
Treylin earned his Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Treylin later transitioned to Atlanta where he obtained his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Troy University’s cohort program. Having worked with diverse populations from at-risk youth to military veterans, Treylin brings a grassroots perspective to his work and is deeply committed to developing a healthy rapport with all those he helps provide a voice for. Through his understanding of human behavior and the social determinants of health, Treylin has made it his mission to advocate for equality for all from education to healthcare.
