Every January, Georgians for a Healthy Future brings together the people working to improve health and health care across Georgia. Health Care Unscrambled creates space for policymakers, health care leaders, advocates, researchers, community organizations, and other voices to connect, hear new ideas, and dig into the issues that matter most to Georgians.
Now in its 17th year, the forum offers a chance to step out of the day-to-day and look at the bigger picture before the legislative session gets underway. It's an afternoon of timely conversations, fresh perspectives, and connections that carry into the year ahead.
Meet Our Health Care Unscrambled 2027 Keynote Speaker
We are thrilled to announce that Loren Adler, fellow in Economic Studies and associate director of the Center on Health Policy at the Brookings Institution, will deliver the keynote address at Health Care Unscrambled 2027.
Mr. Adler's research focuses on health care economics and policy, including surprise billing, Medicare Advantage, prescription drug pricing, and private equity and payer acquisitions of physician practices. This year's program centers on costs and affordability, and his work on how health care is priced and paid for will help set the stage as we explore what's driving up costs in Georgia and what state leaders can do about it.
