Shanae Lee joined Georgians for a Healthy Future as the Director of Finance and Operations in 2026.

Shanae is a finance and operations leader with over 18 years of experience supporting nonprofit, academic, and corporate organizations. She specializes in financial management, grant compliance, budgeting, and operational strategy, with a strong track record of improving processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting data-driven decision-making. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Spelman College and has completed graduate coursework in Actuarial Science at Georgia State University and Business Administration at Keller Graduate School of Management. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Research Administrator (CRA).

Shanae is passionate about advancing health equity and supporting underserved communities. She has demonstrated this commitment through volunteer service as a math tutor with Carrie Steele-Pitts Home, mentor at Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy, volunteer with Open Hand Atlanta, and HOA board treasurer. She is dedicated to using her expertise to strengthen organizations and expand their impact across the communities they serve.
