COVER GEORGIA NEEDS TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Complete Cover Georgia’s survey now!
Since 2013, hundreds of thousands of Georgians have signed up for low-cost health coverage. Being covered means they are less stressed, more financially secure, and healthier. This is exciting progress, yet there is still a missing piece. About 490,000 Georgians remain unable to get coverage. These Georgians are veterans, working parents, and low-wage workers. They are our friends, family members, and neighbors. They do not qualify for Medicaid and do not make enough money to get financial help through the health insurance Marketplace.
Completing this Cover Georgia survey will help us identify thsoe consumers in the coverage gap, provide health care options to these consumers, educate Georgians on their health care status, and identify more advocates and partners interested in supporting Cover Georgia! After completing this survey, please share to others and continue helping those in the coverage gap!

We hope to see you at GHF Friends & Family Reunion Summer Fundraiser!
The best and most effective advocacy relies on strong, trusted relationships. While GHF and many of you virtually advocated and organized since March 2020, we’ve missed being together with our friends, allies, supporters, and partners. We’re inviting you to reconnect and see some friendly faces at GHF’s Friends & Family Reunion event on Thursday, September 15th!
Just like a lot of us during the pandemic, GHF has learned, grown, and changed. Our staff team has grown, we’re kicking off a new strategic plan, and we’re just as dedicated as ever to building a healthy, equitable Georgia. Join us for a fun evening to say “Hello again!”, meet new GHF friends and family, and celebrate our new directions.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from you if you are uninsured, enrolled in health insurance through healthcare.gov, have or had medical debt, or have Medicaid coverage. We welcome other stories too, so don’t be shy!
