You’re Invited!

Join us for the Celebration of Progress & Possibilities 2025—an inspiring evening hosted by Georgians for a Healthy Future! We’ll gather to honor the progress we've made in health advocacy and policy during the last year, and to ignite our imaginations for the possibilities and needs ahead. This annual celebration brings together advocates, partners, volunteers, and supporters who have played vital roles in shaping a healthier Georgia.

Since 2008, GHF has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with community members and advocates like you—transforming challenges into opportunities and turning awareness into action. This event is our way of saying thank you for being a part of the progress we’ve built and believing in the possibilities of tomorrow.

Linda Lowe Health Advocacy Award: Andy Miller

During her 35 years at the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, Wendy championed peer recovery supports, 9-8-8 crisis response, and people-centered mental health care. Her vision has strengthened systems of care across the state.

Founder of Georgia Health News and longtime health reporter, Andy has spent decades bringing transparency and accountability to Georgia’s health care system. His reporting helped inform families, advocates, and policymakers, making real change possible.

Why it matters

Andy and Wendy remind us that lasting change comes from centering people—whether through fearless reporting or bold policymaking. Their leadership continues to inspire GHF’s mission to promote people-first policies and keep Georgians informed.
