Georgians for a Healthy Future and Georgia Women bring you A Georgia Women Health Care Salon on Georgia's Patients First Act. We will provide information to help Georgians better understand Medicaid, who is covered by the program, how it benefits the state, as well as develop skills to become strong health care advocates. Attendees will also learn about grassroots strategies to help influence and shape Georgia’s plans for health coverage under the public comment periods for the 1115 and 1332 waivers allowed under SB 106, the Patients First Act.

Questions examined:
1) How will Georgia’s partial Medicaid Expansion be accomplished?
And
2) How do we advocate in light of Georgia's Patients First Act?
