The House Republican plan to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act has been introduced and is being rushed through the committee process. Known as the American Health Care Act (AHC), this proposed legislation would drastically cut Medicaid, reduce the value of tax credits available for consumers to purchase health insurance, and result in many Georgians losing their health insurance.
